Borgo Santa Lucia is a small house complex composed of 4 houses in a hilly position near Castiglion Fiorentino and the Castle of Montecchio, a few kilometers from Cortona. Immersed in the countryside of the Chiana Valley, it is a private place where you can spend peaceful holidays and relaxing weekends. The property was completely renovated a few years ago and it is located in a 2.5 hectars park. The pool is large, private and placed in a convenient position for our guests. The furnishings of the villa and accommodation are all original Tuscan and Italian antiques and offer all the comforts for short breaks and for long stays. Wifi throughout the property both inside and in the park, satellite TV. Professional barbecue available, cooking classes and wine tasting. Products from our garden and our agricultural activity.

What to visit nearby

Borgo Santa Lucia Borgo Santa Lucia is the ideal starting point to visit some of the most interesting areas of southern Tuscany, such as Arezzo with its ancient Piazza Grande and the frescoes by Piero Della Francesca in the church of San Francesco (15 km), or the picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona (12 km), the medieval town of Montepulciano (35 km) or the marvelous Pienza, where you can admire the Renaissance center and the magnificent panorama of the nearby Val D’Orcia (45 km). Lake Trasimeno with the possibility of bathing and ferries to the small islands of the lake is about 25 km. Siena with the marvelous Piazza del Campo 80 km. Even Umbria is easily reachable from here, and we definitely recommend a visit to the Umbrian capital Perugia (70 km). In the nearby Castiglion Fiorentino you will find a pleasant, perfectly preserved medieval village, typical shops and supermarkets, restaurants and a lovely weekly market.
